Product Description

Made in the Duncan Phyfe style, this antique dining table would be wonderful for any dining space! It features beautiful mahogany wood with one removable leaf. It also disassembles for easier moving and shipping. This table was made in England around the year 1960.

Mahogany Table With One Leaf

Fully extended, this table measures 83.25″ long and can easily seat eight people. The leaf is 19.75″ so you can set the table up at 63.5″ long as well. Sturdy brass catches hold the leaf and table ends together. The wood used is a lovely wispy grained mahogany with a warm, medium brown color. Both of the strong pedestals are well made and look great. They provide sturdy support for the table. Like most Duncan Phyfe tables the legs are fluted and end in brass claw feet and casters.

Antique Dining Table Condition

We are giving this table a good condition rating. The top sections are in very good shape with only tiny minor marks here and there. The leaf has sustained a minor scratch and some minor chips along the edge where it meets the table. Also, there are a few light marks on the legs. Finally, one of the legs appears to have had some kind of repair. It remains strong today. Inserting and removing the leaf is simple, and can be done by one person. Overall this is a very sturdy and ready to use antique dining table that will serve your family for many years to come!
