This antique style mahogany corner cabinet was crafted in England around 1960. Today, the mahogany retains a gorgeous complexion and a striking grain, particularly on the lower cabinet door. Both cabinet doors operate with an accompanying key, while the removable wood shelves are great for display. Meanwhile, individually paned glass makes up the top door in exquisite fashion. This thirteen pane pattern is referred to as astragal glazed. Further, a removable wooden shelf in the lower cabinet adds more storage options.
Flame Mahogany Corner Cabinet
Perhaps the most stunning attribute would be the flame mahogany grain that adorns the lower door. Regal and elegant, it goes well with the applied moldings on the door. Finally, shaped bracket feet compliment these shapes as well.
Overall, this antique English mahogany corner cabinet remains in very good condition. A few wear marks exist here and there on the crown, middle molding, and near the bottom. None of these detract greatly from the overall beauty of the cabinet. The mahogany on the door has some very slight crazing. This tall, narrow corner cabinet would make a wonderful addition to any home!
