This charming antique occasional table was English-made around 1920. Today, the solid oak remains as beautiful as ever, with a lustrous, brown complexion and a striking grain. The distinctive round feet and barley twist legs also look quite wonderful, making this table a beautiful little piece to add to any collection. Another attractive feature is the scalloped or pie crust edge which helps to soften the square shape.
This particular table is in very good condition with a wonderful finish. The barley twist legs are a good proportion for the top and are kept sturdy with a stretcher across the bottom. The top has sustained a number of minor indents that are hard to see in the pictures. They require the glare of an overhead light to be really apparent. Also, it does have minor finish wear consistent with age primarily on the legs, feet, and stretchers. These really serve to add character to an already great looking antique occasional table.
