Antique hall trees like this one are a staple of many homes. They are the first piece you see when you walk in the door and the last one you see when you leave so it is important that you pick one that looks as beautiful as this piece does. This hall stand provides all of the function you need for your front door or mud room and looks great as well!
Antique Hall Tree Wood
Made of gorgeous walnut, this antique hall tree was crafted in England sometime around the year 1910. The walnut is strong and sturdy and has a beautiful, medium color that will warm your entryway. Subtle hand carvings can be found throughout the piece providing detail without being gaudy. It also has all of the key elements for an entryway piece. There are twelve(wow!) hooks for hats and coats, a drawer for gloves or keys, and a mirror for that last minute inspection before you head out the door. Unfortunately, the tins that would be found at the bottom for umbrellas no longer remain. The hooks may or may not all be original, but they look very good with the piece.
Overall this is a sturdy and beautiful piece of furniture. Being over 100 years old it does have some minor surface wear in the form of tiny marks, dents, and dings throughout. In particular there are two indents in the drawer area and a few scratches on the left side by the hooks. The beveled mirror has a few spots on it and a very faint scratch as well, again as you would expect from one of that age. The spots do not show well in the photos, but they are present.
This is a lovely antique hall tree that would enhance the entryway of any home. Don’t miss your chance to add it to your family’s collection today!
