This beautiful antique corner cabinet was English-made around 1960, and today it remains as beautiful as ever. The mahogany displays a fine grain and a rich complexion, particularly on the lower cabinet door where flame mahogany was used. The stylish upper door was made with astragal glass moulding, while the shaped bracket feet remain as sturdy as they are lovely. Both cabinet doors lock with an accompanying key, so you can store your things on its three shelves without worry.
Additionally, all three shelves (two in top, one in bottom) are removable. Of all the beautiful features of this cabinet, the most notable is the inverted bow front design. This is not a common design and will both set the item apart in your home and provide additional clearance space in your walkway.
This antique mahogany corner cabinet has aged very well over the years. The mahogany now has a marvelous patina developed through the ages. There are dark distressing marks here and there throughout. We feel these add character to the piece and are part of its charm. Also, some wear exists on the crown on the back right corner. Finally, we have noticed a small indent to the bottom molding near the left foot. Overall, therefore, this lovely English corner cabinet remains in good condition and would make a fine addition to any home furniture collection.
