Dropleaf Oak Table
The wood used to create this piece is a fine selection of oak that has grown in patina and character since its creation. The warm color of the oak and its naturally beautiful grain present themselves perfectly on the top surface as is desirable in any antique furniture. Complementing the top are the barley twist gate legs all connected via stretchers at the bottom. The barley twist turnings are thick and very well proportioned.
Overall condition of this antique dropleaf table is very good. The gates swing open and closed easily. There are some old small dings, small marks, and minor indents here and there on the top and legs/feet as you would expect from a piece of this age. The top does have some old dark rings on it (shown in pictures). Structurally very sound and quite pleasing to look at, this table would make a welcome addition to any sized home!
