This quaint English oak sideboard was made around 1920 and is the perfect size for a variety of places in the home. The shaped back splash has a carved shell decoration and is nicely beveled. The drawers slide in and out easily and the cabinet doors both stay shut on their own. The workmanship on this Jacobean style sideboard board is very impressive.
The drawers were fashioned with dovetails and the entire piece is very solid. Finely turned legs provide support and subtle decoration to the antique oak sideboard with back splash. Each leg is connected with a stretcher adding support to the antique oak sideboard. Finally, brass tear drop pulls complete the Jacobean style look.
Measuring from the floor to the top of the counter is 37″ and the entire height including the back splash is 45″.
The overall condition is excellent. The counter top area has some old and minor fading and wear marks. Also, there is no key for the cabinet doors. This is a truly beautiful piece with plenty of character. Don’t miss your chance to add a unique antique oak sideboard to your home’s furniture collection today!
