Here we have a special little piece from England. This is an antique silverware box that holds a set of six knives and six forks. The box is made from oak wood and has a brass shield plaque inlaid on the top. Someone has scratched their initials into the brass with the letters L, S, O. There is a lock however no key remains. The exterior of this antique silverware box is in good condition with only a few dark scratches here and there. Both hinges are strong and it opens and closes nicely.
Antique Silverware Box Interior
The interior has been fitted with a blue velvet and snugly houses the knives and forks. They are included with the box. The flatware appears to be stainless steel and could easily be replaced with your own flatware if desired. The velvet remains in very good condition as well. We believe this piece was made around 1920.
This is a very unique piece. Don’t miss your chance to on an antique silverware box today!
