This enchanting antique small round coffee table comes from England. Made sometime around the year 1960 it retains a beauty and warmth that will benefit any room. At only 32″ in diameter it both fits in smaller spaces and provides enough table area to be useful!
By using a stunning selection of flame mahogany the maker has crafted a very elegant piece of living room furniture. The wispy, almost whimsical grain of the wood displays varying tones of brown in beautiful fashion. Also, the maker used a satinwood string inlay and mahogany cross band on the border to accent the round shape of the table. This combination gives the table and classic and timeless look that will go well with almost any decor. Finally, a fluted edge adds another touch of elegance to this antique small round coffee table.
A three splay leg pedestal base provides ample support for this cocktail table. Subtle fluting on the legs compliments the edge of the top well. Meanwhile, the brass claw caps and casters add both utility and beauty.
Antique Small Round Coffee Table Condition
The overall condition of this piece remains very good. The piece appears to have been made with some level of minor distressing that makes it look older than it is. The top is void of any indents. Small marks and indents can be found on the legs. Also, one of the legs appears to have been broken and repaired where it joins the pedestal. This repair is quite sturdy and not very noticeable.
