This lovely flame mahogany corner cabinet was crafted in England around the year 1960. Today, the mahogany looks as beautiful as ever, with a rich complexion and a fine grain. The upper cabinet door features elegant astragal glass and dental moulding. The lower door is done with exquisite flame mahogany and expertly inlaid with a satinwood string inlay and mahogany cross band.
Both doors lock with an accompanying key. While the upper shelves are glass and great for display, the lower shelf is wooden. None of the shelves adjust but all are removable.
The feet and bottom molding have sustained some light scuffs, which is natural for a piece of this age. Overall, however, this corner cabinet remains very sturdy, quite gorgeous, and in excellent condition. It would certainly make a fine addition to any home or office furniture collection.
