This wonderful pair of corner cabinets is a product of the esteemed Bevan Funnell furniture company in England. Made around 1960 they are a lovely pair that has survived the years in really good condition. If you are looking for a matched pair of cabinets for two corners of your home, this is one of the best you will find!
The wood is mahogany and it has been very well treated. The finish has been nicely maintained throughout the years. All sets of doors lock and two keys (total for the pair) are included. The upper glass doors feature a gently curved fretwork and hide two adjustable wooden shelves per cabinet. Just below these doors is a small pull out slide. Finally the lower doors not only feature stunning mahogany wood set off by a mahogany cross band, but also house one removable wooden shelf each.
One of the most eye-catching features on this pair of corner cabinets is the Gothic arched crown at the top of each one. This gives the pieces quite the regal feel! Strong bracket feet support the bottoms and are quite strong.
Pair of Corner Cabinets Condition
Overall, this pair is in very good condition. Both of the slides are quite hard to pull out. There are a few very minor marks here and there and there is one small scratch on the bottom moulding on one cabinet. Otherwise these pieces are as nice as the day they were built and will make attractive additions to your home!
