An antique oak pub table can function in any home as a kitchen table, dining table, or game table. Its draw leaf functionality means you have easy seating for four to six which turns into seating for eight (or more if you want to get cozy).
The wood used to create this lovely table is English oak. It has aged very well and today displays a fine honey color with rich grain. The top of the antique pub table is made from planks which helps us date this table to around 1920. The oak has been well taken care of and is in excellent condition.
Draw Leaf Pub Table
This antique pub table starts out measuring a generous 48″ x 42″. The two draw leaves slide out from underneath the top and provide an additional 36″ making the measurements 84″ x 42″. This is a great feature for parties and larger gatherings. The measurement from the floor to the bottom of the apron is 25″. This measurement is slightly higher than most pub tables we see so if you are looking for a little more leg room this is your table!
Sturdy Barley Twist
The four legs are a lovely turned design. A traditionally English leg, it goes well with the pub style. All four legs are joined with an X shaped stretcher. This stretcher and the weight and strength of the oak wood makes the table very sturdy and will help it last through years and years of everyday use. There are three slight cosmetic age separations to the top and two of the feet have slight age separations. These are not only very slight, but cosmetic only and will not affect the sturdiness of the table.
Because the finish is still very nice and the table is quite strong we are giving this pub table an excellent condition rating. It is ready to go right into your home and be used right away!
