This beautiful oak turned leg writing desk was made in England around 1960. It remains in excellent condition today, the oak having a gorgeous patina that will only continue to grow more beautiful as time goes by. The top is covered with a black leather writing surface which is bordered with a gold tooling that creates a wonderful contrast to the black leather. Each of the two drawers has brass plate back pulls and is joined with hand cut dovetailed joints. All four turned legs are joined by a stretcher and they end in brass casters. This desk is sturdy, beautiful, and functional!
