This is a lovely oxblood or burgundy colored leather club chair from England. It was made around the year 1980. Today it is a sturdy chair that is quite comfortable to sit in. The leather is quite supple and soft and the seat cushion firm enough to support lengthy sitting.
In overall good condition, this piece will be a mainstay in any room for many years to come. The leather has some minor wrinkling which is desirable in aged leather and adds to the suppleness of it. The right arm has very slight crackling to it, which we have treated with leather conditioner. There are some minor surface scuffs on the sides here and there at the bottom.
The feet are mahogany bun feet and are very sturdy. The seating area measures 18″ wide x 20″ deep x 18″ from the floor. Unlike some club chairs, the back rest of this one is slightly raised over the arms. The arms are 26.5″ from the floor.
We ship most items via a free curbside delivery but also offer white glove delivery and custom options (contact us if you have special requirements like this). Smaller items usually ship via UPS.
