This is an English buttoned leather footstool that was made sometime around 1980. The leather is an oxblood or red color that would look great in almost any decor. It was obviously taken well care of because the leather is in excellent condition and has aged to its prime. “Broken in” leather furniture like this is well sought after and footstools of this vintage and size can be quite hard to come by.
The legs are mahogany and have been shaped into Queen Anne style legs. Queen Anne style is characterized by the shaped legs and flat feet. One of the feet has some minor marks to the wood and minor finish wear which we have included a picture of. It is a sturdy and strong vintage leather footstool that should last you and your family for generations to come!
